uniE621 Moo Moo Matcha Visual Identity
I was approached by an American based Matcha tea company to re-brand their existing identity. The objective was to give the brand a younger & more original feel, the aim was to help promote their brand and product by shifting the brands positioning to align better with their mission. Moo's mission is to share the wealth of health from nature with the world. We have built the brand to be fun/playful, forward thinking and educational for all those interested or excited about Matcha Tea. branding logo graphicdesigner illustrator designer visualidentity matchatea tea foodanddrinks logoidentity logodesign green natural logodesigner
    uniE621 Saltid
The brand makes a conscious goal to celebrate nature and where we came from as humans, expressing how we are designed to drink clean pure water with minerals. The brand is modern & sophisticated with a goal to enlighten it’s target audience with the rich primal history of drinking water. One of the design goals of the brand is to have a prehistorical tone, why? Because the brand is about water from minerals and specifically where that mineral water came from.. To accentuate this concept I hand drew the word mark 'Saltid' & the fossil illustration to make the identity feel raw/rocky. water waterbranding waterbrand branding brandidentity logodesign logo logodesigner illustration springwater graphicdesign design branddesigner fossil

After discussing with the client I developed a strong understanding of Laurent's backstory & his passion for crafting jewellery. The main focus for the business is to provide 'quality over quantity' my aim was to reflect this in the branding work. For a hand made feel I decided it was an essential for this to be visually represented in the brand. Misshapen text with a rough metal-like texture worked really well here. Another main focal point for the brand was it's history, Laurent has travelled to the United States to see how the Native Americans (Nagano) worked on ethnic jewellery this included a trip to the turquoise mines. Their is a strong influence in Native American jewellery & this has been carried over to Laurent's work and so we aimed to include this in the branding with zigzag/triangular shapes & patterns. What does the logo represent? Laurent's business/workshop is located near the coast and it is intentional to give the brand this feeling, a feeling of connection to the grounds in which the brand was born to a connection also to his inspiration in Nagano. In conclusion the logo is a mixture of a coastal location/culture, Nagano inspiration & a handmade touch. It's an upmarket/mid range jewellery brand. jewellery jewellerybranding visualidentity graphicdesign coastal typography logodesign logo wordmark icon design branddesigner logodesigner
    uniE621 Little Nerd Web Design
Louise Foster is a web designer based in the UK and whom approached me to help re-brand her existing brand identity. After discussing the prospects of Louise's business I soon realised she wanted to evoke a fun/striking & approachable personality in the brand. The older branding had a somewhat corporate feel and this is something we wanted to change. The new branding adheres more to Louise's actual personality which is intentional for a more authentic feel for her new client base. More into the branding choices... There are certain personality traits we chose to focus on and convert into the main themes of the brand such as 'nerdy', 'alternative', 'witchy', 'gothic'. I found an interesting angle in-which to depict the brand/Louise, I imagined a traditional witch brewing up potions in her cauldron but instead of a cauldron I started thinking of a computer & keyboard, a sort of 'tech witch' working her magic to brew up new amazing websites. We ended up designing a logo, mascot, icon mark and a bunch of brand assets to represent the new brand positioning. branding graphicdesigner logo wordmark mascot webdesign visualidentity funbranding witch website logodesign illustration magic designer alternative brand
    uniE621 MudPig Podcast
A visual identity designed for MudPig, a podcast that interviews artists in the music industry, specifically aimed to a more alternative genre. To adhere to this genre's alternative nature we designed this in a hand-drawn style to feel more raw and punk, this style is an important part of the brand because we wanted it to be easily recognised by the target audience who are into the same music (punk, hardcore, rock etc). graphicdesign punk alternative branding branddesigner mascot illustrator pig podcast artistpodcast music musiccover design logodesigner logo fun
    uniE621 Deaths Hammer
Deaths hammer is a grungy/punk brand that sell clothing merchandise to suit a punk/hardcore target audience 15-30s. The concept is inspired by a fictional interpretation of a hammer owned by death himself. grunge hardcore punk alternative branding designer mascot logo logodesigner illustration wordmark illustrator graphicdesigner designer merchandise clothingstore clothing
    uniE621 Nessacities
Necessities is a creative gifts business that's sole purpose is to provide the world with weird & wonderful treasures for those who deem themselves to be the eclectic sort. The owner Vanessa wanted a piece of herself to be integrated into the brand as she runs the business solely by herself. Therefore she chose to incorporate a portion of her name 'Vanessa' (Nessa for short) which we found to be a fun idea. We like to think of Vanessa as the witch in the woods high a top her tower providing mythical treasures to travellers.
    uniE621 Cut The Crepe
CC is a fun classic/modern (retro) brand with a charismatic feel. The mascot is designed to be cheerful and cheeky... it's almost like the mascot is saying "cut the crap and come get a crepe". The brand itself is a travelling food van offering the world delicious crepe's with pep. branding logo graphicdesigner designer illustrator rubberhose mascot mascotlogo characterdesign illustration visualidentity foodvan crepe logodesigner brandingdesigner foodbranding funbrand
