Job Description

The UI/UX Analyst is responsible for establishing the overall application look and feel as well as designing, communicating, and executing all user interface screens for each business requirement. This role works closely with the Business Analyst and Technical Lead in delivering solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements.

Location: Lansing, MI. Hybrid role with 2 days onsite from day 1 (Tuesday and Wednesday). Local and non-local candidates may apply - must be willing to relocate. Design portfolio must be attached.

Requirements

• Degree in UI UX Design or Graphic Design preferred.
• 3+ years of IT-related design experience.
• Experience with designing to standards like the World Wide Web Consortium, Web accessibility standards (3 years).
• Experience with wireframing (3 years).
• Experience with prototyping (3 years).
• Experience using Figma or a related design tool (3 years).
• Design Portfolio Must Be Attached (Required).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with project team to ensure understanding of requirements, functionality, scalability, and usability of IT solutions.
• Examine existing processes/systems to develop a full representation of the system’s interface design.
• Participate in requirement gathering meetings and identify usability concerns and desires.
• Create sketches, wireframes, and prototypes of user interface screens.
• Perform usability and accessibility testing.
• Facilitate usability tests with users and iterate screen designs accordingly.

• Minimum Hourly Rate: $52.00, Maximum Hourly Rate: $55.00
