Recording studios would charge upwards of $100 per hour to track and mix the songs, meaning an album of 10 songs could easily surpass $10,000. That dollar amount was insurmountable while I was in college. It was during my senior year studying Music and Sound Recording at the University of New Haven when everything finally clicked. Putting together a great sounding record didn’t need to be $10,000. There was a better business model. So, how does it work? We started by finding a great location that we could really make our own. We accumulated a collection of gear over our careers, and designed our studio to provide fantastic sound at a reasonable price. We are a one stop shop, offering recording services, mixing and mastering services, song writing services, studio musicians, and photography services for promotional shots or concert photography. We aim to provide all the services our clients need under one roof. The end game is to give the artist something they can be proud of for a fair price.
