I am currently a Freelance Sound Designer and Audio Engineer based in Brantford, Ontario and am looking to provide my sound services to new and exciting projects. As a Freelance Sound Designer, I have been able to provide various editing services on a variety of television shows. My current projects are providing sound design for the upcoming animated shows Millie Magnificent, and Foley for Let’s Go, Bananas. Past projects have included sound editing for Zokie of Planet Ruby, Foley editing for the Caillou reboot and That Lion Show, music and sound editing for the home renovation shows Gut Job and No Demo Reno on HGTV, as well as music, sound and dialogue editing for The Big Bake and Fire Masters on Food Network and Dark Side of the 90’s: UFC Part 1 on Vice TV. Prior to Freelancing, I was at Wanted! Sound for approximately 3 1/2 years where I had a variety of roles that included assistant engineer, sound designer, and audio tech. As an assistant engineer, I was involved in helping with more technically challenging voice recording sessions and engineering smaller voice recording sessions. I would also frequently be interacting with talent and clients to ensure we had a smooth and comfortable session. As a sound designer I worked on the animated television shows Big Blue (CBC, CBC Gem), Bakugan (Cartoon Network, Netflix), the audio drama Oracle 2: The Dreamland Murders, and the live action film Christmas Wedding Runaway (UPtv). As an audio tech I helped maintain the functionality of the studios, later being heavily involved in the creation and installation of the studios at Wanted’s newer locations and finding a remote solution during the COVID lockdowns to allow recording sessions to continue and minimize lost production time.
