I'm a passionate and creative video editor, producer, musician, screen-and-fiction writer, and historian from the United States, currently living and working in London! Before returning to school for a degree in International and World History, I spent five years as the lead editor at Pickerel Pie Entertainment, a video production company in New York City, working with all types of clients in the entertainment, documentary, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. I saw firsthand how different sectors are using digital video and engaging with best practices in production to captivate and galvanize their intended audiences. Whether it was the laser focus on messaging and efficiency required to produce effective corporate video, the flexibility and intuition needed to capture compelling documentary footage, the improvisational instinct and oddball flair for comedy, or the importance of production cohesion and communication to make dramatic scenes hum with energy, I spent five years cutting my teeth on all sorts of productions and gaining a high level of comfort with all aspects of the production pipeline.
