Hi, I'm Anita, an artist/designer as well as a practising architectural & interior designer. When it comes to illustration, the majority of my work is representational, though not usually hyper-realistic. My artistic style is generally the result of me simplifying compositions to produce a more minimalist result. I also enjoy experimenting and embellishing my work with colour. In order to create harmonious pieces which effectively communicate their desired message, whether it is a piece of brand collateral or an illustration, I consider many of the same elements that I would when designing in 3D e.g. proportions, balance, texture, contrast, simplicity, focal points, patterns, shape, colour, leading lines etc. I love using my creative and organisational skills to bring ideas to life, so if you think I would be a good fit for your next project, please do get in touch!

This minimal composition focuses on the centre of a single, densely packed rosette succulent. The monochromatic green palette truly represents the tonal values of the plant, but the angular shapes juxtapose the reality of the smooth fleshy leaves. uniE608 Balcony Concerts
This motion graphic was produced for the United Nations' Global Call Out To Creatives to help stop the spread of COVID-19. The brief was to capture one of the UN's key messages in your work either: personal hygiene, physical distancing, know the symptoms, kindness contagion, myth-busting, do more and donate. The criteria also stated that the work should be clear, impactful and be in a shareable format. This piece illustrates a balcony concert where neighbours practise physical, not social distancing, fostering togetherness and strengthening community spirit. animatedgif animator architecturalcollage architecturalillustration architectureanimation architecturegraphics architecturalillustration digitalartist digitalillustration illustrarch vectorillustrator video
