It's all about the story. Whether you are making a film, a marketing video, a fundraising video, or even just a TikTok piece, it all comes down to whether you have successfully crafted a compelling story. This is why I chose editing as my main focus. The story is born in the editing suite. I have edited feature documentaries (Angelo Unwritten), produced/directed/edited documentaries (DIAMOND, Citizen Coolidge, The Big Picture), produced/directed/edited marketing and fundraising videos, and done freelance editing gigs ranging from music videos to TikTok pieces. The majority of my work is in marketing videos for nonprofits and corporations, as well as political campaigns. My greatest love is mining a story from hours of interviews and cutting it together with b-roll and stock footage to sculpt a compelling and driving story. I often get lost in my work, with my partner having to tap me on the shoulder to tell me that it is late and I should consider getting some sleep. I begin each project with three questions: Where is the story? Where does it begin? Where does it end? I am comfortable working entirely alone, but I am also comfortable working with a team, utilizing platforms like frame io for client feedback. I love working with stock footage, and can take the sparsest of footage and bring it to life with stock footage. I subscribe to royalty-free music sites and can find and edit music that fits each piece perfectly. I am always willing to hear about new projects and discuss how my experience and skills can help you achieve your goals.

uniE608 One Love: Music Video with Ray Greene from Santana
I produced and edited this concept music video for Dow Brain of Underground Productions. A concept video is a video made by a production studio to try to get mass production of an original song. This video features Ray Greene (lead singer of Santana), Chris Wayne, and Brick Casey. All I had to work with was greenscreen footage of the three men performing the song.
