I'm a passionate Motion Designer based in Barcelona, Spain. I studied Visual Communications and Graphic Design at the University of Damascus in Syria. In my second year, I started an internship in an animation studio and shortly after, I was part of their main animators team and I started working on a famous animation series for the MBC3 kids channel in Dubai. I continued my work in the only animation studio that was left during the war in Syria until 2015 while I was preparing for my graduation from the university. However, 4 days before my graduation day, a rocket hit my house in Damascus and I was severely injured. Nobody knows how I survived but what mostly motivated me to stay alive was my great desire not to let my story end before I achieve the very first goal in my life which is graduating from the university. Two years later, I moved to Moscow Russia after I got a job offer from Ano Novosti TV. I worked there for 5 years and then in 2022 I moved here to Barcelona to achieve a long-awaited dream of pursuing my higher education and graduating one more time, up on my feet and outside of the hospital. Last September, that dream was made a reality as I finished at the top of my class in Motion Design, and for my graduation project, I made a short animated film about my own story and how I survived and healed from the most unimaginable injuries and all the lessons I've learned throughout this experience. In the past years, I had the pleasure of being part of very exciting projects. I was a Video and Image curator on the HitRECord website, where we worked on interesting projects with Joseph Gordon Levitt and Jesica Alba. We also did projects with Zappos and Netflix.
