Mixing and production of 2 songs
We recorded a couple of songs at a friends new studio which we wasn’t overly happy with. We reached out to Ben and he asked for the stems and he worked absolute magic on them. I was really impressed that he understood straight away the sound we wanted and pitched in with great ideas with real enthusiasm and passion for music. For someone who has recorded and played with some of the biggest and best artists in the last 30 years he didn’t make us feel like…We recorded a couple of songs at a friends new studio which we wasn’t overly happy with. We reached out to Ben and he asked for the stems and he worked absolute magic on them. I was really impressed that he understood straight away the sound we wanted and pitched in with great ideas with real enthusiasm and passion for music. For someone who has recorded and played with some of the biggest and best artists in the last 30 years he didn’t make us feel like we were just another band putting a record out. Off the back of this record we got so much radio play and the tracks were picked up by Liverpool football club and played at Anfield both before and after games for around a year, we even got offered a small record deal (we did turn this down as we are not 21 anymore!). I can genuinely put a lot of this down to Ben as without him I think we would have canned them sessions. We have now started the process of recording a new album which Ben will be working with us on every track we record.
