My name is Brandon Foffano, I am a guitarist, bassist, music composer and foley artist. When I was in college, I was introduced to music technology. As soon as I gained experience with music technology, my next step was learning how to compose music for videos. With my musical background, I was familiar with most genres. But what made me evolve as a composer was learning different styles of music when scoring music for film, game, or trailer videos. I believe when it comes to learning music and becoming proficient, it is essential to continue learning so you keep evolving as a musician. If you never experienced a certain genre or style of music, give it a chance to learn about it. Not only can you gain experience but also you can relate and understand with a new audience, and will open up more opportunities for future music works. As a musician, this was a significant achievement because of the knowledge I gained over the years. I got to open up my creativity while creating music for others, as well as for myself.
