With a strong foundation in 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting, I specialize in crafting environments that not only captivate the eye but also resonate with the intended narrative and gameplay experiences. I thrive on the challenge of transforming concepts and ideas into visually stunning and emotionally engaging digital worlds. My approach to artistry is rooted in a commitment to continuous learning and innovation. I keep abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques to ensure that my work remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving field of game and entertainment art. uniE621 Sci-fi Interior Environment
I handpainted the boxes in the scene using Substance Painter. This scene was modeled in Maya and set up (lighting and shadow, material creation) in Unreal Engine 4. designer
    uniE621 "Get Out"
View the entire project on my Artstation page: https://www.twine.net/signin This was a fun little project that I made for my class. I had loads of fun with this piece, straying away from my usual stylized artistry, into a more horrific genre. It was loads of fun and I had a wonderful time making it. 3DArt 3DModeling Unreal Engine AutodeskMaya

View the entire project on my Artstation page: https://www.twine.net/signin I chose a small scene with the intention of hand-painting all of the textures, each prop in the scene was painted using Substance Painter, although my mesh alphas drawn digitally on Adobe Photoshop. I spent alot of time tinkering and experimenting with UE5's Niagara System, and I used blends of different software, generally treating this project as a fun little experiment. 3DArt 3DModeling UnrealEngine AutodeskMaya
    uniE621 Stylized Temple Environment
View the entire project on my Artstation page: https://www.twine.net/signin This project has proven to be my most challenging Portfolio piece yet. I love stylized modeling and I want to grow my skills in it. My main artistic inspiration for this Environment piece came from Ni No Kuni: Wrath of The White Witch, in which many elements of Studio Ghibli style hand-painted textures were implemented into the game, creating a wonderfully vibrant and colorful world filled with hope and adventure. Working on this project pushed me out of my comfort zone time and time again, as I crafted each and every texture from scratch, using texturing programs such as Substance Designer and Painter. The base grass and rock textures were taken from FreeStylized.com. I also found a lot of help and inspiration from Jimmy Malachier's handpainted textures on Artstation. I would not have been able to cohesively put this Environment together if it were not for his in-depth guide to creating Ghibli-like textures on Substance Designer. I used Toon Shaders to help push the stylized look and used Blender's Particle System to achieve the cloud-like appearance of some of my foliage.
    uniE621 Goblin's Den
View the entire project on my Artstation page: https://www.twine.net/signin A Goblin's Den diorama. I played around with different Unreal functions in this project and discovered new techniques in order to achieve the quality I wanted. I tackled tiling textures, and vertex paints, using multiple UV sets and I created all of the textures using Substance Painter and Photoshop to add hand-drawn elements. This is my first stylized piece and it has really opened me up to my preference for creating Stylized 3d pieces. I also experimented with niagara systems in order to achieve the stylization of the smoke coming out of the chimney as well as to add some glowing particles to the grass, adding a touch of magic to the scene. My reference for this scene is linked below: Hong Vuviet: https://www.twine.net/signin
