My daily ikagai (purpose) has been combining the natural forces of product success; enriched digital experiences that scale human convenience, with that which drives commercial success. I bring my a-game, by providing strategic product design, complex problem-solving, uncovering insights, and identifying unmet needs all while maximising business viability.
I have experience that spans across B2B and B2C products in consultancies and in-house roles, touching various industries to inform strategy and product design that leads to innovation and transformation. A diverse background in design, research, and business complements strong interpersonal skills, allowing for a balance of influential leadership, strategic vision, and design execution.
I am currently immersed in the world of payments redesigning the future of BPAY at AP+. Notable past positions have included projects and roles with Woolworths, CoreLogic, NSW RFS, Australian Government, Ogilvy, Sony Music, Australia Post, and Vodafone. Not to discount the many fierce and hugely intelligent startups I have passionately been involved with, where my experience in product delivery and design strategy were leaned on to craft success on limited resources.
All in all, my love for collaboration with leadership, management, and technology experts is essential to my ability to get the best output. Whether co-designing inclusive experiences and strategies that inform transformations, guiding product ideas from inception to delivery, ultimately my goal is to help drive success.
Specifically my involvement in design teams centres on enhancing design literacy, design systems, storytelling, and fostering an environment of radical candour and continuous improvement is a day to day highlight for me. Advocacy for the right tools, research, and operational support is critical to achieving inclusive outcomes, that I like to extend beyond the bounds of employment, with constant acknowledgement and advocacy for those that need it most in our communities.
Having originally trained as a digital designer in graphic & communication design, the evolution of my skills has spanned brand design, product design, strategy, research, management and front end development, with user perception and interaction embedded in the process.
