As a dynamic and innovative professional, I have dedicated my career to the intersection of technology, creativity, and education. My journey has taken me from major studios in New York to academic institutions like Harvard and Berklee, and most recently, to leading Curiosibot SL, a cutting-edge creative technology company based in Valencia, Spain.
Currently, as the CEO and Creative Technologist at Curiosibot SL, I manage the Curiosibot Lab space, engineering music sessions, and digital fabrication for clients. I am responsible for organizing both in-person and online events, expanding the organization’s reach, creating residency programs, and developing new opportunities through detailed proposal writing. My work involves creating augmented reality experiences, immersive experiences, video editing, sound design, and visual effects for various projects. This role allows me to merge my technical expertise with my creative passions, delivering unique and engaging experiences for our clients.
My time at the Digital Media Academy at Harvard as a Curriculum Developer for Wearables and Summer Instructor saw me leading courses in Arduino Robotics, Raspberry Pi (Python), Unity, 3D printing, and Wearable Electronics from 2018 to 2021. These roles honed my skills in developing and delivering complex technical content in an accessible and engaging manner.
At Berklee College of Music, I served in various capacities, including as a Visiting Lecturer and Part-Time Faculty in the Music Production, Technology, and Innovation (MPTI) Department. I was the creator and faculty of Maker Lab 1 and 2 courses, which involved teaching Arduino, Max, VR, and electronics. Additionally, I founded the Maker/Multimedia Lab BV, a fabrication lab equipped with advanced machinery for student use. My role also involved assisting students with their course and thesis projects, fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
My professional journey began in the bustling studios of New York City. At Broadway Video and Headroom Digital Audio, I worked as an Assistant Engineer, providing sound design and assisting with long-form television mixing sessions for high-profile clients such as VH1, A&E, and MTV. I also supported post-production needs, handled video requirements, and ensured the smooth distribution of audio content for Clinique North America.
My earlier roles include working as a Machine Room/Assistant at The Mill, a prestigious production studio in New York, and as a Studio Assistant at Avatar Studios, where I managed junior team members and assisted in the everyday operations of the studio.
I held a predoctoral researcher position at the Multimodal Interaction Lab, Music Technology Group at the University Pompeu Fabra, where my research focuses on "Biosignal Affected Music in VR for the Reduction of Stress and Anxiety.
