uniE613 A Sudden Gust of Wind (after poly)
A Sudden Gust of Wind (after Poly) is a contemplative photo series exploring the aftermath of Storm Poly, a violent windstorm that swept through the Netherlands in July 2023. Shot on 35mm film with a slow, deliberate process, the project captures cinematic, atmospheric images that emphasize emotional resonance over factual reporting. The photographs document altered landscapes and mundane moments, creating a tension between the ordinary and the extraordinary. This series is a poetic meditation on the lingering impact of natural forces, arranged as a visual narrative for exhibition.
