For Michael “Fish” Herring, a 20-plus year veteran in the touring world, performing onstage as a guitarist with artists such as Christina Aguilera, New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Lady Antebellum, Prince, Backstreet Boys, Dru Hill and Anastacia is just a fraction of a long and winding career. Along with touring, Fish has had the pleasure of performing multiple times on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Today Show, The Grammy Awards, The American Music Awards, Top of the Pops, among many other appearances. Working around a busy touring schedule, Fish has also spent time logging studio hours as guitarist and/or producer for many artists and projects including Tupac, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Elton John, Leann Rimes, Mary J. Blige, Daughtrey, Frank Ocean and American Idol, as well as scoring scenes for big studio films, independent films and Television. Fish has had a long standing relationship with several companies as an endorsing artist including Yamaha Guitars, Rivera Amplification and D&A Accessories, where he also enjoys having a hand in research and development. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Fish continues to produce, write, record and develop new talent.
