With over 20 years of experience in graphic design, I’ve had the pleasure of working on a wide range of projects, from crafting strong visual identities to designing complete layouts for books and creating promotional materials for both print and digital media. I’ve also been working in web design for over 8 years, honing my skills in creating user-friendly, visually appealing digital experiences. I recently completed a course in UI/UX design at the Lisbon School of Design in Porto and am excited to transition further into this field. While I am still gaining hands-on experience, I am passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered designs and am eager to build strong partnerships in the European market. My goal is to blend my rich background in graphic design with my newfound skills in UI/UX to deliver creative, innovative solutions. uniE621 Branding Casa da Efigênia
Visual Identity for a Store Specializing in Minas Gerais Products The Casa da Efigênia brand represents more than just a store; it symbolizes an authentic connection to the heritage of Minas Gerais, with its artisanal craftsmanship and the care passed down through generations. The name, a tribute to Grandma Efigênia, reflects the essence of Minas Gerais traditions—where a knitted cloth on the table, artisanal cheese, liqueurs, cachaças, sweets, and jams made from ancestral recipes become true emblems of affection and dedication. Casa da Efigênia is the bridge between consumers and these carefully selected products, chosen with a discerning eye for quality. The choice of Reina Neue Display as the primary typeface reinforces this identity. The font embodies elegance and sophistication, with refined shapes and smooth curves that convey both delicacy and grandeur. It stands out for its ability to blend traditional and modern elements, creating a visual aesthetic that is timeless yet innovative. This combination perfectly aligns with Casa da Efigênia’s mission to reflect the traditions of Minas Gerais in a contemporary way, communicating the authenticity of its products with a modern and appealing aesthetic. logo graphicdesigner designer
    uniE621 Branding Santalac
Visual Identity for a Dairy Company from Minas Gerais For the development of the SANTALAC brand, the cow symbol was strategically selected to establish an immediate and emotional connection with the target audience. The cow is a universally recognized icon associated with milk and its derivatives, representing an animal that has provided essential nourishment to people for centuries. Its presence evokes feelings of familiarity, tradition, and, above all, trust. The friendly expression of the cow is a crucial element in building the visual identity. After all, first impressions are fundamental, especially when introducing a new product to the market. The cow, with its "kind and approachable" appearance, sends a clear message that the product is trustworthy, healthy, and worthy of consumer preference. In a market where the brand is still unfamiliar, trust becomes a valuable asset. People tend to buy products they can rely on, and the friendly cow creates an emotional bridge that helps overcome the initial barrier of unfamiliarity. By associating the product with such a positive and recognizable figure, we are not only building a brand but also fostering an emotional bond that encourages consumer preference. logo graphicdesigner illustrator designer
    uniE621 Branding Nó!
Visual Identity for an Event Company The knot is the invisible force that holds the beauty of a seam and the security of a rope. In sewing, without it, the thread would unravel, and the fabric, no matter how beautiful, would lose its integrity. The seamstress places her trust in the knot, ensuring that her work remains intact. Similarly, a mountaineer scaling a high mountain relies on the knot to ensure their safety. This symbolism of the knot reflects life itself: it is in the small, often invisible details that true strength lies, keeping everything running smoothly—just like in an event, whether cultural, institutional, or personal. The strength of a well-structured team is what ensures that everything goes according to plan. The word “Nó!” is also a widely used interjection in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and can be expressed in various situations to convey surprise, admiration, astonishment, or even indignation. It is a short and emphatic way of reacting to something that happened or was said. logo graphicdesigner branding designer
    uniE621 Logo Qadash
The primary goal of the school is to offer pedagogical assistance to children aged 5 to 12 during after-school hours, helping them with school assignments and fostering their educational development. As the concept for the identity, a continuous line runs through the letters Q, A, D, A, S, and H, representing the path taken by the children at Qadash. This line symbolizes the educational and transformative journey. It visually conveys the progression each student experiences during their time at the school, carrying with them a growing informational, creative, and cognitive foundation. At the beginning of the line, there is a smaller, green circle. This circle represents the child entering Qadash, carrying their initial potential and knowledge. It is the starting point of the educational circuit. At the end of the line, there is a larger circle in a different color (orange). This circle symbolizes the child after completing their journey at Qadash—now more complete, capable, and transformed. The difference in size and color between the two circles illustrates the growth and evolution the child undergoes throughout their journey at the school. Initial Circle (Green): Represents hope, freedom, youth, and the child’s initial potential. Final Circle (Orange): Reflects joy, vitality, prosperity, the knowledge gained, and the fulfillment achieved at the end of the educational journey. The growth and transformation reflected in the circles are a testament to the positive impact Qadash strives to provide to each student. logo graphicdesigner branding illustrator designer
