Francesco Marzola is an Italian musician and composer living in Sofia, Bulgaria. Started his career as a piano player under the guidance of Roberto Jonata and keyboard player with Keller Band, after he developed his passion for composition and arrangement, specifically in composition for modern media. In 2021 he finished his Master's in music for motion pictures at the FSAE (Studying with Andy Hill, Conrad Pope, Norman Ludwin, Mikolay Stroinsky, ...). In 2024 he was nominated among the top 12 international film composers under 35 by the Krakow Film Music Festival and attended masterclasses with Miriam Cutler, in 2023 he was nominated for Best Original Score at the International Sound & Film Music Festival; he also achieved 10th position in the Oticons Competition and was a finalist in the Apulia Soundtrack Awards, his music has been choreographed and performed in important venues, and he has contributed with music and sound design to some video-games. He has recently completed the original score of his first feature film "Il ladro di stelle cadenti" which opened the 70's edition of the Taormina film festival.
