    uniE621 Frankatein
Frankatein was a game jam project, made during IPCA Game Jam in 2023. This game counted with a team of two artist and three programmers and won the prize of best art. This game shows the story of Kat, a young lonely girl that has recently lost her cat best friend, which made her really sad and in pain. Sad and missing her best friend, Kat does a ritual in order to bring her cat best friend back to life, by gathering different cat body parts, and joining them in a kind of cat Frankenstein's monster where her cats soul can live. Frankatein is a light horror game with inspirations from movies like Coraline and Frankenweenie. In this game, I took more of a lidership role in what came to the artstyle and aesthetic of the game, while working side by side with the team in order to make sure everyone was happy with the visuals of the game. For the game, I did the props of the game, the tiles applied in the background and the menu design, with the other artist in my team responsible for the character design and animations.

“Paper” is the name of an animation project made for a 2D animation class, and it talks about an old artist, who lost his best friend, a dog, who followed him for many years. The animation looks to depict the artist's journey as he deals with grief and loss and learns to forgive himself. Here it is possible to see some of the pre-production elements and characters studies, as well as the storyboard and some animated moments.
