In the following project, I created an application that uses some of the best self-development practices and helps people set better goals and achieve more.
METHOD
The people I interviewed walked me through their attempts to set goals or stick with a new routine but failed. I created storyboards to outline the application's context and drafted paper prototypes for basic functionality and screen flow. I then outlined the low-fidelity screens and built upon them as I progressed to develop the app. Online video testing confirmed that the solution still addressed the core problem.
RESULTS
The focus of my project was to help users set clear, defined, and attainable goals with real and meaningful motivation. Furthermore, the project provides community-curated resources and allows them to find a partner with similar interests to keep them accountable.

METHODS
I conducted field research with users in their natural work environment and created a user persona based on the observations. I redesigned the information architecture around the inspection process to provide simple and straightforward navigation that corresponds with the user's routine tasks.
RESULT
I designed app architecture and entire UI, simplified many interactions to improve accuracy and ease of use. Wireframes, prototypes, and user personas ensured that the center of the product is user needs. The app was successfully relaunched and led to quicker inspections and improved overall accuracy.
