Hello! I am Heloise, a freelance illustrator, designer and storyboard artist living in the UK. I studied art and design in Paris and have been working in the design industry for over 10 years. My work focuses on digital illustration as well as hand drawings in black ink, gouache and watercolour. Having a background in interior architecture, I have a good eye for things 3 dimensional and my personal work includes cityscapes, maps and interiors but I also enjoy drawing scenes inspired by everyday life, people, nature and animals. My work is lively and colourful. I like catching the essence of things in a couple of lines, making my drawings full of character. I’ve illustrated a children’s book, custom travel maps, family portraits, designed invitations, paintings, logos, commercial illustrations, a music album, book covers, storyboards, a mural, simple animated 2D animations and people tend to request my hand writing for a nice touch on text or calligraphy. I love the challenge of making ideas, concepts and technical things easy to understand visually. I’ve sharpened my graphic design skills in prestigious creative studios in London for years so a pencil, Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator have no secrets for me!
