The process began with the transformation of fabric, carefully treated with gold leaf to imbue it with a sense of timeless elegance. Through a meticulous aging process, the fabric was weathered to convey layers of history and narrative. The design, initially conceptualized as a personal vision, was developed and refined in Photoshop, where it was meticulously adjusted to align with the artist’s aesthetic sensibilities and conceptual depth. This digital phase was not merely technical but served as a bridge between the abstract and the tangible, allowing the artist to fully articulate their ideas. Finally, the enriched design was transferred onto the prepped fabric using the gam print technique, a manual process requiring precision and a deep connection with the medium.
