Audio is my greatest passion, deeply rooted in my love for music. My journey began with mastering the drums, and achieving Grade VIII. Music has always been a vital creative outlet, driving me to teach myself music production using Ableton Live and Logic Pro X to create my own projects. I recently completed my BA (Hons) in Audio Production, during which I gained extensive experience in various aspects of sound engineering. I had the opportunity to implement sound design projects, where I created audio for games using Unity, focusing on essential elements like triggers and interactive audio. Additionally, I recorded and engineered live band sessions in a studio setting, utilising a Neve VR mixing console to capture high-quality audio. My academic work also covered all bases of audio related to post-production, including mixing in Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 surround sound. Since completing my degree, I have been actively working as a freelance sound engineer and sound assistant, gaining hands-on experience in multiple areas of audio production. As a sound assistant, I have supported various live sound setups, assisting in the configuration and operation of equipment such as the Sound Devices 633 mixer and Boom Mic 8060, as well as managing radio microphones and ensuring timecode synchronisation during recordings. My role involved collaborating with the engineering team to capture high-quality audio on set, enhancing the overall production quality. I've also planned and executed PA system setups for various live performances, where I engineered sound for one notable event using a Soundcraft FX16ii mixer, ensuring clarity and balance across all instruments. I work closely with clients to deliver tailored sound experiences that meet their specific needs. Currently, I have captured high-quality field recordings using a Zoom H5 recorder, and I have edited and sound-designed these sounds in Pro Tools. I am collaborating with a composer to weave these recordings into a live performance composition scheduled for later this year. In this project, I will manage the PA system, serving as the sound engineer and a live performer alongside a full-size orchestra. I am also certified in Dante Levels 1, 2, and 3, equipping me to handle advanced audio networking technologies. I am passionate about audio and committed to continuously improving my craft while delivering exceptional results in every project I undertake. I’m excited to collaborate with others in the industry to create immersive sound experiences that resonate with audiences.
