African Union #ICanSurvive Mental Health Toolkit
BRIEF
To address the mental health challenges faced by African youth, stemming from the continent’s complex social, political, and economic context. These challenges were identified through extensive engagements, including town hall meetings, community visits, consultations, and surveys, involving over 50,000 young people across Africa and the Diaspora.
SOLUTION

Global Partnership for Education
The Global Partnership for Education mobilises partners and funds to help 76 partner countries transform their education systems and deliver quality learning to those who are marginalised by poverty, gender, disability or displacement.
As a consultant designer I'm instrumental in the output of a variety of communication products for the only global partnership and fund dedicated entirely to helping children in lower-income countries get a quality education. Leftlion Magazine
THE BRIEF
With the country in lockdown, Nottingham's largest independent magazine Leftlion put a call out to creatives to design the cover of their next issue as a competition. I designed a couple of concepts and ended up winning the competition.
THE SOLUTION
My final design was partly inspired by my daughter’s trousers coupled with all the rainbows that started appearing in household windows at the time. Many children were off school and were showing solidarity with the community and support for the NHS with their artwork. In lockdown we were all living on our own little islands and I wanted to communicate this isolation and created a vector-style front cover with illustrations. The cover proved so popular I printed up a batch of posters that people all over the UK could keep as a memento of this strange moment in our lives. graphicdesigner designer…THE BRIEF

THE BRIEF
A series of inspiring messages were required by the United Nations to communicate their commitment to important international causes. These took in a range of subjects that included climate change, the Ukraine grain deal and the celebration of special annual international days.
THE SOLUTION
The United Nations social media reach is 16+ million people so careful consideration of their branding was paramount when designing these deliverables. For the ‘Act Now’ climate change messages I was inspired by their climate branding style and created a series of striking graphics that utilised bold typography, vector graphics and black and white imagery.…THE BRIEF

The Premier League Scholarship programme offers each apprentice the chance to fulfil their dream of becoming a professional footballer, while at the same time providing them with the opportunity to develop academic skills in an environment suitable for their all-round personal development. They required a variety of yearly print and digital deliverables for their scholars.
THE SOLUTION
Utilising the Premier League’s brand guidelines in a new and creative fashion, I updated their Scholarship materials using their bright, engaging style and taking it in new directions. This was across a range of print and digital media including interactive PDFs, handbooks, posters and postcards.…THE BRIEF
