Hello! I'm Janice, a freelance Screenwriter and Content Writer based in the Philippines, who's been working in the industry since 2009. My fortes are historical fiction, political thriller, and action & adventure stories. I won "Best Produced Screenplay" at the World Cinema Fest in 2019 for the historical drama screenplay for "Quezon's Game," a retelling of the heroic efforts of Filipino President Manuel L. Quezon, who rescued over 1,210 refugees from Austria and Germany in 1938. I currently dabble in the full spectrum of creative writing - from commissioned screenplays for feature-length films and corporate ads, to writing short films, documentary projects, blogs, and other online articles.
