Jenna Pratt is a Music composer and pianist based in Sydney, Australia. She composes music for film, television, games and advertisements.
Jenna graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting from JMC Academy where she discovered her passion for film music. She went on to complete a Graduate Certificate in Screen Music at the Australian Film and Television School in 2018 as well as a one month residency at Church Street Studios run by one of Australia’s leading Film Composers Guy Gross.
2019 saw Jenna score numerous short films, including Magnetic (funded through Create NSW), Last Seen, and was one of 10 selected to participate in a full day Film and Television Composition workshop called Equalise; a series of workshops held by APRA AMCOS to promote and educate females in the music industry today.
In 2020, Jenna wrote the theme for ‘The Loving Podcast’, created by Genna Chanelle, and was selected by Amara Primero as part of a Women’s Day Initiative to collaborate on a documentary series which aired on SBS (See What You Made Me Do). She was selected by WIFT Australia’s MentorHer 2020 programme as a mentee, where she received one-on-one sessions with Kate Stenhouse (owner of Electric Sheep Music).
In 2021, Jenna was nominated for Best Original Score at Made in the West Festival for her work on ToyBoy, a female lead Sci-Fi short film written and directed by Nicole Delprado (Paraverse Pictures).
Jenna also writes production music, which has been placed on various television shows on Australian Networks including ABC, Seven, Foxtel and SBS.
