Jesse Ellison (born September 17, 2006), professionally known as Files J, is an Australian record producer. Ellison began taking interest in music when he was 12 through Garageband, primarily using the apps built-in loops. After years of tinkering, he dropped his debut EP 'Blacklight' in June 2021, and would continue dropping music regularly up until his debut album 'The Neighbourhood', which dropped in January 2022. Ellison dropped two more projects that same year, his second album 'DREAMS BEYOND OUR IMAGINATION', and his second EP 'i hate the world and everyone in it'. It was around this time that Ellison shifted away from his standard instrumentals, and instead reinvented himself as a producer through the art of beatmaking. As a result, Ellison would come out with a couple singles in 2023 with different artists ('Freedom' with Elvin Reels, & 'Mourning' with Kris$ Brian & Kaxhin), along with production credits on other projects ('Welcome to Blink Station' by Michael Zapawa, 'Let Your Will Be Done' by Trunks, 'Headrush' by Roish). Throughout that same year, Ellison would team up with UK rapper and close collaborater Kris$ Brian to produce a collaborative album between the two 'RPM45', marking Ellison's first album as a record producer. And to wrap up the year, he would follow it up with a collaborative EP with an older collaborater ARMA 'Isolation'.
