    Brand explorations and executions for various PlayStation® launches, activations and events. Being able to help visually and conceptually steer such a beloved, exciting and renowned global brand was an incredible experience, and a huge privilege. I worked as a senior creative at Sony Interactive Entertainment for 12 fantastic years. The top-down rebrand of PlayStation's whole visual language ahead of the launch of PS5 in particular was amazing to be a part of, and an experience that taught me a huge amount.     uniE621 Hard-Fi - Stars Of CCTV
    Album and single campaigns for 'Stars of CCTV', the debut album from Staines punk group Hard-Fi. Atlantic Records wanted something simple and full of impact for the first album from their new signing Hard-Fi, and the CCTV camera on the cover quickly became just that. I was tasked with extending this image into a workable campaign, and rolled out an extensive and eventually iconic set of outdoor executions, along with press ads, merchandise and a raft of other materials. After this award-winning campaign, I also produced the designs for the follow up 2-disc live album, 'In Operation'.     uniE621 Blue Carioca Dancewear - Brand Identity
    Brand identity and ongoing work for Blue Carioca, a new independent retailer selling ethically-made vegan dance shoes from Brazil. Taking various inspirations from Rio, dance steps and the name itself I created a simple logomark packed with meaning, and then rolled out a bright and distinctive colour palette across executions for various channels.     uniE621 Horizon Zero Dawn - Packaging Design & Launch Campaign
    Art direction, packaging design and marketing campaign for a major new first party IP from Sony Interactive Entertainment. Horizon Zero Dawn is a new flagship IP for Sony Interactive Entertainment, and one I was lucky enough to be involved in from its inception. Collaborating closely with the development studio (Guerrilla Games), I produced the usual packaging and marketing campaign elements, as well as packaging for various special editions of the game. The jewel in the crown was art directing and producing the Collector's Edition, housing a resin statue and many other extra elements - one of the best received premium sets that Sony has ever released.     Art direction and packaging design for the 'Still' LP, by recording artist Bryde. As a huge fan of Bryde already I was stoked to be approached by Sarah to look after the design for her third studio album, Still.     uniE621 VSO International Rebrand
    Global rebrand for a leading international development organisation. VSO are a development organisation who specialise in sending skilled volunteers to areas in need. We won a pitch to rebrand their entire company from the ground up, including their visual identity and tone of voice, in tandem with their internal design team. After a thorough brand audit and research phase lasting several months, we developed a new identity for them based on the catalytic effect that their volunteers have on the areas that they are sent to. This was supported by a contemporary typeset and colour palette that gave the brand real energy. In terms of tone of voice, we developed a forceful, intellectual and at times confrontational identity to differentiate them from the softly-spoken nature of many other companies in the same sector, and rolled this out over a variety of platforms and executions, including a comprehensive brand book.     uniE621 PlayStation®Plus Brand Work
    Art direction, production and brand guardianship of the PlayStation Plus service. During my time at Sony I oversaw the rebranding and brand guardianship of its PlayStation Plus subscription service, one of the key pillars of the business and a vital part of the PlayStation landscape. Rebranding in 2016 with the new ethos and strapline of 'Power Up Your Play', and then again in 2022 to introduce the current tiered evolution of the service, I was involved with all creative aspects of Plus. As well as producing brand assets, toolkits and comprehensive brand guidelines, I also acted as the primary point of approval for all Plus creative throughout the region, working with teams and external agencies, both centrally and as far afield as Australia and New Zealand, to ensure a consistent consumer-facing identity. I created dozens of brand campaigns and promotions, and was also responsible for the production of the 'PlayStation®Plus Hub' on the PS4 itself, a dynamic app on the console that surfaces key benefits, games and news for Plus members every week.
