Hello friends and fellow lovers of noise! I am an audio engineer and musician from the SF Bay area, currently in Los Angeles, with hands-on experience in pre-production and production for live events and concerts, multitrack recording on both digital and analog systems, scoring and arranging music, and both production and post production sound for film. I have had a passion for music for as long as I can remember. I taught myself guitar and piano at a young age, and continued to learn more and more instruments to keep up with my family of talented musicians. I began my pursuit of audio engineering in high school by mixing whatever gigs I could find, from school musicals to coffee-shop punk shows. Loyola Marymount, my alma mater, is where I took my career in sound to the next level. I've done it all, from cutting sound effects and composing scores for student films, to operating both analog and digital consoles for bands either in the studio or live on stage, and even coproducing a primetime radio show on KXLU. I am proud of the way I have been able to inject my creativity into my work, but I have also developed a number of technical skills. These include an exemplary understanding of signal flow, different micing and recording techniques, mixing specs for both music and film sound, and how to properly use and care for equipment like analog and digital consoles, standard microphones, outboard effects units, and tape machines. These skills have made my performance shine when capturing sound on set, assisting sessions in the studio, and collaborating with other engineers to cut prints for film. When I’m not working as a Runner/Assistant up in Burbank (or as a bartender in Venice) I love working on independent projects, and would love to hear from you!
