Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, I started drawing at an early age. Coming from a family of artists it wasn´t difficult to embark on this field. I started my first art courses at the age of 8 at the League of Art of San Juan, where I later studied cartooning with renowned cartoonists. This led me to want to study illustration. I Graduated with a Bachelor´s Degree in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, with a Major in Visual Communications-Illustration. I Have worked in Puerto Rico as a painter, freelance illustrator, and photographer doing amongst other chores, photo restoration and painting restoration at the family studio. As an illlustrator I have worked for editorial houses like Santillana, Editorial Cultural Puertorriqueña, Editorial Norma, and the daily newspaper “El Nuevo Día”. In 2004 I moved to my father´s homeland, Seville, Spain, where I have also worked as a freelance painter and illustrator, doing mural and decorative painting mostly for the Feria de Sevilla, and other clients as well. I have worked also as a graphic designer and art teacher. I have participated in diverse collective painting exhibitions. In 2021 I moved to Marbella, where I´m currently painting on commission, (cars and mural painting), working as an art teacher, cartoonist, and studying at the Museum of Spanish Contemporary Printmaking´s workshop.
