Kim de Haan is an illustrator, artist, and designer who specializes in creating optimistic and captivating visuals for children’s books, novels and editorial projects. With over a decade of experience in design, Kim’s work combines her love for storytelling with her eye for detail, honed over a decade in architecture and furniture design. Her illustrations have been featured in various publications, and she has collaborated with authors and publishers to bring their stories to life.
After earning a degree in Interior Architecture with honours from UNSW, Kim co-founded a boutique firm, designing high-end homes. She later worked at Kyle Minor Design, creating custom furniture, sculptures, and installations for clients like Google, Levi’s, and Slack. Now, as a full-time illustrator and artist, Kim’s work is driven by a passion for blending creativity and craftsmanship.
