My name is Klara, I’m a passionate 3D animator striving to create captivating animations that bring your creative projects, games, or films to life.
In my recent role as a Gameplay Animator at Frontier Developments, I spent nearly three years honing my animation skills and had the exciting opportunity to work on the game Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin. This project involved bringing to life a variety of horror and fantasy characters, an experience that was both challenging and incredibly enjoyable. Collaborating closely with animation leads at Frontier, I gained a deep understanding of motion and animation principles, enabling me to create immersive and responsive character animations. With my versatility across different animation styles, from cartoony to realism, first-person to third-person, I offer high-quality character animations for various types of projects.
Additionally, I have experience creating animation systems in Unreal Engine. After working with an internal engine at Frontier, I am eager to apply my skills and adaptability to contribute to your games and quickly familiarize myself with the necessary tools or technologies.
Throughout my university education and professional career, I have gained extensive experience in rigging in Maya, which I now utilize for both freelance and personal projects. At Frontier, I actively collaborated with riggers, quality-testing various rigs and gaining valuable insights into professional rigging functions.
My primary software is Maya, but I have also worked with Blender and MotionBuilder. With a solid foundation in different software, I find it quick and enjoyable to learn new tools. This adaptability and versatility are crucial in the dynamic and ever-evolving game development world.
As a team player, I enjoy communicating with other disciplines to understand the product’s pipeline requirements while ensuring our visions are aligned to achieve cohesive results. I also work well independently, value feedback from third parties, and always ensure my animations seamlessly integrate with the rest of the game.
I am enthusiastic about both the artistic side of bringing characters to life and ensuring gameplay is satisfying and enjoyable. On the technical side, I focus on making my animations as responsive as possible, creating seamless animation transitions, and find pleasure in tying together Animation Blueprints.
