Levente Kovacs is an award-winning Hungarian composer specializing in orchestral film and game music. His credits include composing the score for the Ukrainian war-drama Sniper: The White Raven, released on Amazon Prime, and the experimental horror-thriller short Belief, which received honours at international festivals including the London International Web and Short Film Festival, and the Montreal International Film Festival, and the post-apocalypse drama short Robinson, an official selection of the Hungarian National Film Festival. Levente is known for his expert command of orchestral colour and melody, combining timeless Hollywood Golden Age techniques with modern scoring production. He has won top honours in a multitude of international composition competitions, including first prize in the Call for Scores (2024), Score Live Theme Tune (2024) and German Game Music Award (2019), and second place at the Pannonia International Film Music Competition (2018) and the Wiener Filmmusikpreis (2019). Levente has also performed orchestration, arrangements, and music preparation on major orchestral film music concerts and theatre productions such as MOSMA 2024 (Movie Score Málaga), Christmas Concert at Teatro Soho Málaga (with Antonio Banderas 2024), Villa Haar (2024), Hollywood in Vienna (2019) and the Sound of Thrones (Game of Thrones) concert in Budapest (2017). He has been Featured Composer for the Vienna Symphonic Library company since 2019, producing dozens of demo and trailer music tracks showcasing their virtual instruments. He is currently based in Vienna, Austria, where he is on the faculty of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and works with a global clientele in the film, TV, and video game industries.
