Education

Bachelors of Arts in Creative Brand Communication at AAA School of Advertising
January 1, 2011 - December 31, 2013
This degree shaped my creative mind. I learned how to apply different techniques and methods to a problem in order to come up with a big idea and ultimately, a winning creative solution. As an aspiring Art Director, Graphic Designer, or Copywriter, I knew that learning how to think conceptually and taking that thought through to an execution - be it in pictures, symbols, or words - was essential to stay ahead of the game and be industry-ready. As a creative, my job was to communicate ideas, feelings, and stories. If my work could make people stop and think, shed a tear, or laugh out loud, then I knew I had succeeded. This degree helped me develop the skills I needed to achieve that level of success. I was also excited to embark on the compulsory, structured, and monitored Internship program during my final year. This experience within the advertising, design, media, digital marketing, or communication industry provided me with invaluable real-world experience and helped me launch my career in the right direction.

International Certificate in UX Design at Get Smarter with edX
January 1, 2014 - March 31, 2023
Digital products and services are part of every touchpoint between a business and their customers. By factoring real-world customer problems into your design processes, you can create user experiences that act as a key differentiator in the race towards market share. The UX Design online short course from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Advanced Computing for Executives (ACE) delves into the fundamental principles of user-centred design. Over six weeks, you’ll explore common design constraints and learn to place the consumer at the front-and-centre of your design decisions. By applying this theory to practical UX wireframing in Figma, you’ll learn to design a minimum viable product with a focus on usability.

The rebranding project aimed to revamp the company's visual identity, messaging, and brand strategy. The previous brand had become outdated and stale after several years, and the company had evolved and wanted the brand to reflect its growth and modernity. The first step of the project was conducting research to gather insights into the target audience, industry trends, and competitors' branding strategies. This research informed the brand strategy, which included a brand positioning statement, brand personality, and key messaging. After understanding the brand strategy, the team moved on to the visual identity design phase, creating a new logo, color palette, typography, and imagery that reflected the brand's personality and values. They also developed brand guidelines providing clear instructions on using the brand assets across all platforms and touchpoints. The team rolled out the new brand across all marketing channels, including the website, social media, print materials, and other digital platforms. They ensured a seamless transition from the old brand to the new brand and provided training to staff to ensure consistent implementation. The final step was evaluating the success of the rebranding project through metrics such as increased website traffic, social media engagement, and brand awareness. This feedback helped the company continue to refine and evolve its brand strategy as it moved forward. logo graphicdesigner branding illustrator designer
