Hi. I am a guitarist, keyboardist, and singer with over 20 years experience recording and performing in various groups/projects. I started recording at an early age, mostly in the world of MIDI. After lots of self-teaching, sequencing, and trial and error, I eventually went on to obtain a Bachelors degree in Popular Music, focusing on composition and technology. I played and recorded lots of different genres of music, with lots of different collaborators, including blues, folk, rock, metal, pop, country, drum n'bass, electronica, indie. I later completed a MA in Sonic Arts, learning more advanced composition techniques, experimenting with cutting-edge audio technology, sound design, and using music production skills in educational environments. After lecturering in music performance and music technology at the largest college in my region, I decided to complete a MA in Music Therapy, all the while, continuing to do remote session work for different artists. I am now located in Portugal, where I have been busy recording, writing and co-writing with different songwriters and finding my work environment has become more online than ever. I am an easy person to work with and am always open to trying out new ideas, no matter how weird or wonderful. I have a simple studio setup that allows me to focus on the quality of the work that I am producing, instead of all the bells and whistles (although I do have a few of those too!) My main aim in all of the collaborative music work that I have done so far has been to elevate the production in any way I can. My hope is to provide the same service to clients here on Twine, at an affordable rate, while maintaining creativity, inspiration, and quality at all times.
