I'm a freelance writer who also has administrative experience, including pitch pack creation and copywriting. As a freelancer I have worked as a virtual assistant for the past 6 months to the CEO of a theatre production company, specialising in Access to Work funding, calendar, inbox and diary management and event organisation. As a writer I trained at various courses in new writing theatres in London, including the Soho Theatre Writers Lab, and The National Theatre playwriting course and was shortlisted for the Channel 4 Screenwriting Course in January 2021. My debut play, the #MeToo inspired ANOMALY, was named one of the top shows of 2019 by The Spectator and had its South American transfer in Montevideo, Uruguay in August 2022. I also wrote the book for GRETEL! THE MUSICAL, which premiered at The Other Palace in 2019 and had its soundtrack released on Spotify soon after. In August 2023, myself and my long time collaborator Charlie Turner were announced as part of the brand new Overture scheme, which was created to give a voice to underrepresented Musical Theatre writing teams. We then presented an excerpt of our new show THE CLOCKWATCHER as part of the Overture industry showcase in December 2023. But most recently we are delighted to announce that our brand new musical, LIGHTNING BOY, will have it's World premiere at Birmingham Hippodrome with the National Youth Music Theatre as part of their 2025 season.
