Kevin Piquemal is a French composer, arranger and keyboardist based in Lyon, whose passion for music started at a young age. His musical training, tough mostly self-taught, started with studying piano and organ in Grenoble, then at the ENM Villeurbanne in music theory, electroacoustic composition and choir. For 10 years, Kevin has been dedicated to practicing drama, which has not only helped him develop his acting skills but also improved his ability to tell stories through his music. In his spare time, Kevin also enjoys Scottish country dancing, which has given him a unique perspective on folk music and dance. In 2022 he received invaluable guidance and feedback from renowned Hollywood composers such as Christopher Young, Javier Navarrete and Lennie Moore. In September 2023, he took part of FAME'S Institute Film Masterclass with orchestrator-conductor Alastair King where he composed, orchestrated and conducted two pieces. These experiences allowed Kevin to expand his knowledge and expertise in the field of composition. Kevin's music is diverse and ranges from small ensembles to full orchestral pieces with hybrid elements and Celtic influences.
