    Reimagining the Starland area as Savannah’s focal entertainment district and cultural hub Savannah, GA is a very popular little city, both for tourism and residential purposes, but for all its successes it has always lacked a central entertainment district, a place to promote and hold community events and promote local commerce.     African Americans on the Move Book Club (more commonly known as AAMBC), is a nonprofit organization working to promote and support black creatives within the writing industry. They host events such as their yearly AAMBC Awards show and Black Writers Weekend (BWW) and have a multitude of smaller groups that live underneath the AAMBC umbrella. I got the chance to work with this group virtually over the summer of 2022, and spent a good amount of my time making social media posts and templates, designing style guides and headers, and developing print collateral for the events happening over the ensuing months.
