    uniE621 Letterpress Book
I created this book in my second year at university. I was given the text and asked to design the book based on the subject of the writing. I chose to experiment with letterpress to convey the idea of patterns in architecture which was discussed in the text.

    uniE621 Impaqua App
Impaqua is an app which I designed as an answer to a brief set by RSA. I was tasked with creating a solution for an environmental issue and decided to focus on water usage. I designed this app which helps the user to track how much water their food shop uses and to help them to make more informed choices.I created a series of boards to display my app idea.
    uniE621 Samurai Armour Project Book
For my final project at university I chose to study the topic of Japanese samurai armour. I have always been found Japanese culture interesting and wanted to explore it further. I created a small book and a full sized folding screen to demonstrate my findings. I wanted to show how the armour was made and how the samurai wore it as well as adding in some interesting facts where I could. I used various research methods including books, websites, exhibitions and archives. This project also allowed me to experiment with wood working, laser-cutting, printing and weaving. This ultimately furthered my interest in Japanese culture and encouraged me to continue my study in to the area.
