    Why will you stay safe today? For De Beers, I helped bring a powerful safety campaign to life. The goal? Humanise mining by focusing on why safety matters, not just how. We asked miners to think about their reasons for staying safe—family, friends, life beyond the mine. The result was an emotional campaign that hit home. Over 80% of employees shared their personal reasons, which went up as posters across the mine and beyond. The film? It went straight to Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity often dubbed the ‘Oscars’ of the advertising world, and won acclaim at the Loerie Awards. And the impact? Zero fatalities during the campaign. I handled the art direction, design, and video editing, working with the team to craft a message that stuck. This wasn’t about rules—it was about real lives.     What do you do when the only competition you truly have is yourself? You head to the track and try beat the best. We decided to create the first ever monthly web-series where the best of the brand go head-to-head in a 300m sprint. These locally produced races included new model launches racing their closest rival from the AMG brand and are broadcast live across all our digital platforms on the last Friday of every month; Facebook Premiere, Instagram TV, Twitter, YouTube Premier and even DSTV Catch-up during the Formula One. Each episode is supported by the right mix of content to build hype and awareness of the upcoming race, including teasers, trailers, polls and Facebook and YouTube premier posts.     For Saigon Suzy, I created a brand identity that screamed bold, vibrant energy. With locations in Johannesburg’s trendiest spots, the brand needed to stand out with big, bold colours and a mash-up of South Asian influences and pop culture references—complete with cheeky innuendos. I helped the interior designers bring the vibe to life with striking colours and patterns, then took that aesthetic across every touchpoint: social ads, templates, menus, uniforms, ping pong balls, wallpaper, t-shirts—you name it. Every element was designed to capture the fun, chaotic energy of Saigon Suzy. Inspired by the buzzing streets of Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Suzy serves Southeast Asian street food with a side of punchy cocktails. Think of it like a holiday for your taste buds, with private karaoke pods and an atmosphere that’s all about living it up.     For Cloud Walker Vape Juice, I built a brand identity that’s as unique as the small-batch, homespun juices it represents. The brand needed a hand-crafted, playful vibe with a touch of rustic charm, so I went all-in on custom design. I hand-drew the logo, the custom font, and the motion graphics, bringing that raw, personal touch to the brand. The vape bottle design, t-shirts, and products all followed suit, with the same cool, rustic feel that gives the brand its distinct personality. Every element was designed to feel crafted, not mass-produced—just like the vape juices themselves.

    FANS HAVE THEIR SPEED PUT TO THE TEST IN A DIGITAL SPACE The Mercedes-AMG 45 S is one of the most anticipated launches of the year. As one of the fastest hot hatches in the world, it boasts a ridiculous acceleration time of 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. THE CHALLENGE: Get fans to engage with an interactive AR filter to experience the instant power of the AMG 45 S on an existing social platform. THE IDEA: Gamify the speed of the new AMG 45 S by allowing users to experience its pacing in real-time by building an interactive Instagram filter. Using Spark AR, create an animated speedometer going from 0-100 km/h in 3,9 seconds, challenging users to match their reaction times to the speed of the car by blinking at the 100 km mark (Seriously, it's tougher than it looks.) THE RESULT: Release the filter on our existing digital platform, @mercedesbenzsa's Instagram profile, alongside the Mercedes-AMG 45 S launch to show off its instant speed and power, going from 0-100 km/h...     For this Johannesburg-based restaurant and bar, I crafted a brand identity that blended modern flair with raw African energy. The spaces were in some of the city’s trendiest areas, so the brand needed to stand out—cool, clean, impactful, but with that unmistakable African edge. I worked with the interior designers to bring bold colours and patterns to life, creating a vibrant atmosphere that matched the vibe. I also designed social ads, templates, menus, and brand patterns, ensuring every touchpoint reflected the brand’s unique tone and culture.     We created Mercedes-Benz South Africa's first Online Magazine and named it after the year we patented the first vehicle; 1886. We understood that we weren't the first brand to bring out a digital magazine, so to write a little bit of our own history, we created the first online magazine with a built-in voice prompt, just like our MBUX. With a simple voice prompt, we allowed consumers to turn the page and navigate through the magazine in a completely new and innovative way. Using the Voice Prompt to mirror MBUX 'Hey Mercedes' We brought the Natural Voice Control technology from our cars and introduced it into our new digital magazine.     For Trodian, I created a brand identity that spoke to the protective and masculine nature of the machine lubricant brand. Machines live or die based on lubrication, so I made sure the brand shouted that truth boldly. I designed a brand identity that’s as tough as the machines Trodian serves—sleek, clean, and built to last. The brand’s tone of voice echoes that: no fluff, just the hard facts. Deliverables? A striking logo. A powerful tone of voice. Bold packaging for B2B oil drums and consumer bottles. Plus, stationery and social designs that get the right attention.
