I am a visual artist who graduated from the University of Ottawa’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program, major in Photography, and began working as a graphic designer in 1993 while still in Ottawa. In 1995, I moved to Toronto and became an art director/graphic designer/production artist/copywriter. From 1997, I achieved success with my own businesses, designgirl and later, Studio deLuxe, completing full projects for my clients and also freelancing. My clients included ad agencies, corporate communications agencies, financial companies, toy companies, and more. Big city fatigue prompted a move to small town Ontario in 2014 – Brockville, to be precise. Studio deLuxe became seven zero and I have continued to work independently and maintained most of my TO client base. I have a fully-equipped office which boasts a mac book pro, large apple display, continuous Time Machine back-up, always up-to-date Adobe Suite and MS Office, high-speed internet, and printers.
