My name is Nathalie Bougeant, I am 41 years old and I live in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature Studies from the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne, a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature Studies from the University of Oxford (New College) in the UK, and a Master’s Degree, 2nd Cycle (professional) in Legal and Economic Translation from the University of Paris X-Nanterre. I have been a freelance translator since 2012 and speak English professionally on a daily basis. Furthermore, I have a solid experience in subtitling, dubbing and translation of novels and poetry. Since 2003 (and especially since early 2024 with Complétude, and since September 2024 with the Montessori School in Paris and the University of Créteil), I am teaching English to pupils aged 3 to 20 years old. This experience proved very enriching and rewarding, as I have been able to upgrade the pupils' skills in English, both orally and in writing. Also, I have been accommodating each pupils' needs and difficulties, and I have tailored my lessons accordingly.
