The organization pursues its previously mentioned ambition primarily through education, thus, the organization's overall value highly responds to the idea of possessing the ambition to pass down knowledge that is granted from one generation to the next. Primary Goal To re-design the organization's logo at a much more professional level that indicates a sense of strong representation that will captivate the organization's values and long-term goals. Furthermore, the organization demanded two stationery materials for the logo to be implemented, which primarily includes a letterhead and a staff's business card. Actions I Have Undertaken Through a meticulous approach to research and rough conceptual planning, a wide array of strategic approaches had been established with regard to how the logo could encompass the organization's values and long-term goals. In preparation for pursuing conceptual development, gathering visual inspiration was the initial task I undertook in order to develop an eye for the aesthetic representation that supports the concept of a visual expression that upholds a Polynesian identity. Working closely with the organization's general director, through established written ideas, a range of strategies were established and agreed upon to encapsulate the valuable proposition that the envisioned logo could potentially uphold by enforcing the primary value of the organization, as mentioned in the previous section ("responds to the idea of possessing ambition to pass down knowledge that is granted from one generation to the next"). This act was followed by the establishment of numerous rough concepts, which were later translated into advanced concepts that contributed to the overall finalization of a logo through ongoing engagement and technical drafting. Project Outcomes The finalized logo presents a structure that not only captures an indigenous identity that the organization needs to be represented under but also the essence of the organization's dominant value and long-term goals. With this logo, the organization looks forward to marketing itself in the future with an elevated sense of cultural dignity that could support it in improving its relationship with its current audience, as well as support it in getting more audience to appreciate its values.

Within this project, it is my responsibility to visually transform a rough written annual report document into a compelling visualized layout structure that will communicate the organization's key milestones within the preceding year of 2023 while also being able to represent the organization's missions and values. Actions I Have Undertaken Through the initiation of conceptual planning, I had established various foundational ideas that could be taken into consideration when undertaking the structural development of the pages that would need to be identified within the annual report. Moreover, icons and written marketing propositions had been established across the document to pave the way for communicating specific sections of information in a much more appealing and engaging manner, and to place an emphasis on focal details that are considered to be important throughout the document. Actions I Have Undertaken Throughout the progression of this project, I have conducted research on specific types of design that identify a range of different visualisation tactics. As a designer, I am tasked with re-innovating the current state of visual branding that depicts the identity of the organization. They are in need of a fresh logo that will be accompanied by supporting colors that will direct the tone of their business. In addition to the visual innovation of the organization's brand, I am also tasked with developing a design for two collateral materials for promotion. These materials include a two-sided pamphlet and road signage. Envisioned Visual Style The client for this project has approached me to design their logo in such a way that they are open to any ideas regarding the icon or typeface that is used. However, the client I have been working with has expressed an interest in the idea that the logo should somehow resemble a coastal (ocean/beach theme) visual expression. This is primarily due to the location in which the organization operates. The client with whom I am working for has expressed an interest in a color palette that will visually resemble a coastal and aquatic scenery. In addition to the aforementioned factors, the organization wants to be identified as a business that is supportive, trustworthy, and reliable for its clients. Project Outcomes The organization of StepsForward was able to re-establish its visual identity in a more fitting approach. With the developed visual tone found across the established set of brand elements, customers and clients are likely to identify the organization of StepsForward as both trustworthy and reliable with the services they provide. The wordmark with an associated icon meets the required essence that encapsulates an environmental factor where the organization operates from, and the established form of typeface along with the minimized tone of colors, the logo can further express a visual outcome that represents reliability and trustworthiness.

The repeated brush strokes that use the established color palette associated with the brand of Toi Ora help to express a creative artistic tone. This is a finalized concept that overall encapsulates the description of the class program with appropriate efficiency while meeting the visual identity of the organization in the process.
