Hello, I’m Alexandre, a brand designer and strategist that has been leading multidisciplinary design and strategy teams for the past 10 years, collaborating with brands and organisations to promote business growth and optimize brand experience across different channels, both online and offline. I started my career 18 years ago as a designer but, soon realising that the business challenges of clients were often different than the ones that we were hired to solve, I found myself approaching projects in a more holistic way tackling into core business issues adding strategy design to my skills and further developing it. A discipline where I apply design thinking methodology based on research, problem definition, ideation, pretotyping and testing as a way to deliver design driven problem-solving ideas. A big part of my career path has been in 360º agencies. I have a strong experience in branding (design and strategy), advertising (above, below and digital) and brand experience (including brand activation which I also teach at ETIC, a Portuguese new technologies and creativity school) with an omnichannel approach. Through my professional career, i collaborated with global brands like Vodafone, L’Oréal, Samsung, Nespresso, MINI, Heineken, Pepsi but also Portuguese brands like Sonae Sierra, Fidelidade, Água do Luso, Portugal Telecom, Modalfa, Montepio, Delta Q and was awarded several awards both for creativity and efficiency.
