To give a quick summary of myself, I have completed professional courses in graphic designing and commercial photography in India before moving to Abu Dhabi, where I worked for around five years as an in-house photographer with an advertising agency mostly handling FMCG clients. There I mostly handled product and portrait photography. Subsequently, I moved to a media production company in the UAE, where I sharpened my skills in film making and editing. I was part of a dynamic team which did short films, documentaries etc. I have had several opportunities to assist leading photo journalists in the industry, on a range of subjects and projects, including fashion, food and sports. I have also worked as a freelance photographer associating with leading newspapers, magazines, advertising agencies and event companies both in India and the United Arab Emirates. This stint has helped me acquire a strong understanding of both markets, client management and retention skills, and exposure to a wide range of activities and subjects. 2014 onwards, I am working as Chief Photographer for an advertising company based in Abu Dhabi. My KRAs include managing location and crew for events and projects, including photographers, videographers, editors, technical support staff etc., ensure compliance with expected output qualitatively and quantitatively, coordinate post-shoot activities including design and edit to produce final output, a to accomplish projects, and secure client-sign off. In the current assignment, I also manage production of corporate videos, promo videos and highlight videos. Apart from the above, I have personally shot and edited few short films along with friends and have won few awards. I could share references on these.
