Patrick Girouard has designed and illustrated over 200 books for children, including “Yikes- Lice!,” winner of Science Books and Films Best Books, and “I Have a Weird Brother Who Digested a Fly”, a Society of School Librarians International Honor Book.
His clients include Sesame Street Magazine, National Geographic World, Kid City, Spider, Weekly Reader, USA Today, Click Magazine, Oxford University Press, Child’s World, Sterling/Pinwheel, Children’s Press, Igloo Books, Magic Wagon, Ranger Rick, Compass Point Books, Reader’s Digest, Northwestern University, Purdue University, Scholastic, Paper Magic, Gibson, Current, American Greetings, and Albert Whitman & Company.
His work has been exhibited at the Society of Illustrators NYC, The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, Natalini Galleries Chicago, The Fort Wayne Museum of Art, the Lighthouse Art Center, and the Robert E. Wilson Gallery at Huntington University.
In addition to books and magazines his work can be found on greeting cards, games, toys, museum exhibits, cd’s, puzzles, t-shirts, posters and limited edition prints.
