Born and raised just outside Philadelphia, PA, I had the good fortune to get a great public school high school education. While at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, I studied acting under Lee Strasberg and other Actors Studio teachers, and then went on to direct Alec Baldwin (still an unknown then) in an NYU / indie stage production of Mark Medoff’s full-length comedy, The Wager. My passion for film and TV was awakened by a college roommate in NYU’s film program, who later became a Hollywood screenwriter. Soon after enrolling in Temple University’s MFA program (TV/Film), I began working as a producer — and never looked back. Over the years I’ve enjoyed capturing and telling unique and powerful stories, and interviewing hundreds of subjects, including: scientists, physicians, educators, military veterans, CEOs, pro athletes, chefs, and a number of famous writers, and artists including musicians Duane Eddy, Jim “Reverend Horton” Heath,Ed Roland, Steve Wariner, Billy Zoom, John Knowles, Nick 13 and Toots Thielemans; Drs. Paul Offit and Carl June; and writers Judy Schachner and Jennifer Weiner. Over the years I’ve written, produced, directed and edited for television, documentary, and worked in educational video, non-profit, and corporate video — delivering shows and programs for cable broadcast, national educational distribution, YouTube brand channels and most everything else in between. I've done work for and with Nat Geo Wild, National Geographic, History Channel, Velocity, Oxygen, Animal Planet, HGTV, TLC, Food Network, Fox, Fox Sports, Disney, Scripps, Hachette, Simon & Schuster, Penguin Books, Columbia University Press, Scholastic, Clarion Books, Films Media Group, Fender Musical Instruments/Gretsch Guitars, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Curtis Institute. Edelman Advertising, The American Heart Association, Gerolsteiner water, Barclaycard US, and AT&T.
