I am a fine artist with a deep interest for culture and connection. I see art as a way of transcending barriers and giving space to everyones opinions where there is less of a voice, my art is big and often takes up the whole room as I get to express opinions that don't need language to be understood, I grew up with a mother who moved from Mexico to the United Kingdom without a knowledge of the language or taste of the culture and I have grown up seeing her innovative ways of expressing herself and the rich cultural baggage they hold. I found through art I could best display the rich Latin American heritage to give voice in a way that includes all those non literary folk, I see my practice as a way of bridging cultures, ideas and environments This is also why I am passionate about taking art outside of the confines of the white space…I am a fine artist with a deep interest for culture and connection.
