I'm an epic fantasy lover that enjoys animating as much as creating characters and creatures, and although I love to play games related to this, my passion has always been bringing these things I love to life. I have a bachelor’s degree in CG Art and worked for 4 years in advertising, where I was in charge of animating (handkey and mocap) and had an important role in texturing and modeling characters and other assets. Then I worked for over a year in a small game studio as lead Character Artist. Here I was in charge of the whole process of giving life to a character, from a concept to a fully handkey animated and textured Unity asset. In my career I’ve had to learn many skills and how to use a variety of programs, so I’m not afraid of new challenges. Here are some highlights and details of my career. I started as an architecture helper, so thanks to that I developed a strong sense of space and perspective. I’ve helped and led a variety of “Hot Wheels” commercials, all with animated creatures and robots. I’ve worked creating characters for 3 games, from low stylisation to highly stylized; “Lament of Kyoto” was the only of the three that got published on Steam. My strongest skills are animating and modeling in either Blender or Maya and texturing with Substance Painter, but I also learned how to use Marvelous Designer and Z-Brush, how to tweak motion capture animations and learned how to navigate and prepare and import assets for Unity. In me you'll find a willing artist, not afraid of asking or giving my opinion, that's eager and very capable of creating cool stuff but knows that the road to perfection is endless. So I’m confident I’ll be a very good addition for your studio. I hope to hear from you soon and we can start working together. Thanks so much.
