Raif Alyosofi is a filmmaker and video editor, born on January 1, 2003. He has extensive experience in editing films and videos. Raif began his career as a video editor at Moonx Media, working on documentary and TV projects, including the documentary film “Legends in Yemen.” Since 2019, he has worked as a freelance editor on commercial projects for renowned brands like Telstra and Fleurop, as well as editing independent short films.
Raif studied at the High Cinema Institute in Cairo, specializing in film directing, and further honed his skills in visual effects and color grading through specialized courses. He is proficient in advanced video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut, After Effects, and Nuke.
Throughout his career, Raif has taken on various roles in film production, including working as an Assistant Film Editor on Egyptian drama series like “Ser Elahy” and “Phobia.” He also worked as a colorist on a variety of commercials and short films. Additionally, Raif directed several short films and documentaries, aiming to showcase Yemeni culture through his work.
