Reyon Douglas Bio Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Reyon Douglas is a 29-year-old Singer, Songwriter, Music arranger and vocal coach. Residing in a small Suburb In Roosendaal (Delft), he has been in the music industry for close to 12 years and has worked with, recorded and toured with artists such as Grace Constable Davies, Allou April, Damian Roman, American artists Jovonta Patton, Darnell Davis, Sam Reeves, Robert Robinson, 29:11 (USA Reconciliation music group) and many more. He has also been a guest artist at Northlink College’s annual Award Ceremony, as well as a runner-up in Northlinks Got Talent 2015, A talent competition which was eventually won by his good friend, Miskah Geduldt (Now Miskah Rank). In 2016, He participated in the “Sing for the King” gospel competition, Then supported by CCFM, and was also a runner-up behind eventual winner, Sharon Kayster. He was approached to join the New Hope International organization in January 2019, which led to him going on tour with the group from September 2019 until January 2020. The group performed in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Iowa, Chicago, at over 100 events. The four months spent there, gave him and the rest of the group the chance to not only teach the people of Minnesota (USA) about our culture and history, but also to perform with Well-known Local artists like Sam Reeves, Robert Robinson, Jovonta Patton and more. Included in these performances, they were also invited to perform on USA News Channel WCCO, Performing with the Minnesota Orchestra, as well as being the first South African Group to Perform at Prince’s Paisley Park studio, and the first artists to perform there, since Prince’s death in 2016. In February 2021, He released his 3rd single, called “Claim It’, recorded by Award winning record producer Damian Roman under the Vision United Music initiative. In September 2021, he was nominated for the "Best Gospel Artist" at the Cape Gospel Music Awards. Currently, he is working on his very own full album to go with the 3 tracks already recorded, and doing backing vocals for various artists, Arranging and coaching for the gospel group "Ronald Bailey Project", various choirs, as well as performing at numerous gospel and charity events in Cape Town.
